Episode 1KI LOK is a kind-hearted girl who likes helping people. On this day, she and her classmates go to a hospital for an internship program, during which DAO SIN-FA, an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) of General Medicine, informs them about their duties and responsibilities. KI LOK and CHAN PAT-SHUI are assigned to the Integrated Medical Wards, where PAT-SHUI is thrown into a spin when he helps feed a patient. All of a sudden, some gangsters pick a fight in the A&E (Accident & Emergency) department, fortunately, CHEUK TZE-KWAN braves it out to quell the incident. After these two groups of people are evaluated and diagnosed by a doctor, TZE-KWAN notices that BIG CRAB shows other symptoms. However, Doctor YUNG YI-SUM is not happy after seeing that TZE-KWAN questions his decision, leaving TZE-KWAN no other choice but to secretly hand the case over to another doctor, TONG YAT-CHUN, for a follow-up.… ...

Episode 2CHI-MING gives KI LOK, PUI-YEE and YUET-OI pop quizzes. Due to lack of time, PUI-YEE, out of panic, jots down the wrong facts and figures in patients' food logs. After CHI-MING notices the disconnection of a patient's tracheal tube, he immediately reprimands YUET-OI for that, but KI LOK speaks out to defend her. YAT-CHUN picks up TZE-KWAN and drives her to the peak for lunch, during which the two exchange gifts for each other. Later on, CHI-MING discovers that it's PUI-YEE who wrongly wrote down the facts and figures in patients' food logs, so he intends to disqualify her from participation in the internship. Having received an anonymous complaint against CHI-MING, SIN-FA goes to ask CHI-MING about the matter. Meanwhile, LAI-CHING confides in her friends that she is frustrated, so her friends plan to host a feast for all student nurses.… ...

Episode 3KI LOK gets a very unpleasant earful from KING-SUN who accuses her of not only having mistakenly swapped prescriptions but also remained unapologetic about it. Not wanting to make a fuss on such a minor issue, CHI-MING thinks an apology will suffice, to which however SIN-FA disagrees. On the contrary, she requests KING-SUN to make an apology, on top of which she even launches a work-to-rule campaign. After attending to an injured child, YAT-CHUN suspects it's the result of child abuse. Meanwhile, the student nurses meet up with NGA-YAN and ask her about the thing that happened between KI LOK and KING-SUN, hoping she tells them everything. TZE-KWAN notices HIU-CHING seems to have experienced an emotional disorder. Having heard this, YAT-CHUN introduces her to a psychologist.… ...

Episode 4PAT-SHUI is scheduled to work night shift together with CHI-MING, which makes him feel very nervous for fear of making a mistake. Later on in the corridor, PAT-SHUI bumps into a kid, who immediately disappears without a trace. Thinking it's a ghost, PAT-SHUI is so scared that he falls ill. Music industry newbie CHI-LUNG passes out during rehearsal, so he is accompanied by his agent to the hospital for a checkup. While there, CHI-LUNG learns about the ghost encounter and becomes so panicked that he wants to be transferred to a private hospital, but his agent reminds him that he can't afford it. In the meantime, an ambulance transports a grandpa, surnamed LO, together with his grandson to the hospital, and the grandpa is so agitated by his grandson LO CHING's attempt suicide that he even passes out right in A&E. Working the night shift, KI LOK notices some stains in the corridor which seems to be the deeds by mischievous kids.… ...

Episode 5TZE-KWAN brings HIU-CHING to consult a psychologist, who points out that HIU-CHING holds dear her family but is lack of maternal love. Later on, TZE-KWAN learns from YUET-YING that HIU-CHING often stays alone with CHUN-BONG in her room and plays with him, above which she even hears that HIU-CHING was molested by CHUN-BONG. With TZE-KWAN complaining about this to CHUN-BONG's mother, DAO-HANG instead blames her for making false accusations before trying to clarify the whole thing. On the other hand, CHI-LUNG wants to be discharged from the hospital, but KING-SUN suspects CHI-LUNG has developed anorexia nervosa, planning to transfer him to the psychiatric department. While LAI-CHING envies that KI LOK gets to learn how to perform a lumbar puncture, KI LOK has no idea how come CHI-MING gives her this opportunity.… ...

Episode 6Ever since her childhood, KI LOK has been told by KEI YAN that her mother will soon appear. On this day, KI LOK once again asks KEI YAN where on earth her mother is, but KEI YAN appears reluctant to tell her the truth. Sneaking into the ward, SAI-KAN hands take-out food to CHI-LUNG, to whom he frankly discloses his wish is to be a singer. Meanwhile, PAT-SHUI hears that HUI HUI is narrating soccer games, and at that moment, he comes to realise that HUI HUI was the nurse who looked after him years ago. Due to some mistakes he made, HUI HUI is going to receive punishment, out of the blue, PAT-SHUI braves it out to take the blame for him. As for CHI-MING, he somehow manages to lure YUET-OI into becoming his informant, gathering information among the student nurses. Finally, TZE-KWAN finds out about the fact that HIU-CHING has been very unhappy at school, to which DAO-HANG is completely indifferent.… ...

Episode 7Noticing a blood vessel bursts in SIN-FA's eye, CHI-MING urges SIN-FA to consult a doctor, but SIN-FA doesn't listen to his advice. Suddenly, SIN-FA passes out and is later diagnosed with heartworm disease, so she has to be hospitalized, leaving CHI-MING in charge of everything in the wards. In order to convince CHI-LUNG to eat, PUI-YEE pretends to be his fan. Nevertheless, according to CHI-MING, not only didn't CHI-LUNG regain any weight, but he is also found self-inducing vomiting in the washroom. However, CHI-LUNG shifts all the blame to PUI-YEE. Meanwhile, KO FAN reveals he made a film to take part in the best short film competition as well as the easiest and best paying job contest, and he is confident he is going to win. Having heard this, all the student nurses give KO FAN their full support, above which they pro-actively participate in another filmmaking process.… ...

Episode 8CHI-MING continues to arrange for the student nurses to take up special training by dividing them into three groups for different assignments, but the student nurses all think it's boring and serves no purpose. While LAI-CHING and PUI-YEE keep reminding the diabetic patients to return to the hospital for follow-ups, KI LOK, who tries to persuade a grandma to send her son with learning disabilities to the sheltered workshop, specifically asks KO FAN to make a video of it, yet KO FAN completely forgets about it. After TZE-KWAN successfully convinces a flight attendant, who keeps bothering YAT-CHUN, to leave the hospital, she out of the blue spots red rashes on the flight attendant's neck, suspecting she is infected by dengue fever. SAI-KAN tells LAI-CHING that rumor has it that YAT-CHUN and TZE-KWAN are more than just friends.… ...

Episode 9In the ward, KI LOK runs into YUET-OI, who seems to be very serious, warning KI LOK not to trust anyone blindly. KWAI-CHEONG out of the blue passes out while patrolling the wards of the hospital together with a nurse consultant. After KING-SUN attends to him, he is confirmed to have suffered a transient ischaemic attack (TIA) and has to be hospitalized for observation. Meanwhile, LAI-CHING asks TZE-KWAN for advice while hypothetically speaking of the situation that is similar between herself and KO FAN. Paying a tribute together to their late co-workers that died of SARS, YAT-CHUN and TZE-KWAN cannot help reflecting on those days when they were fighting against SARS side-by-side. Episode 10After learning that LAI-CHING has betrayed her trust, KI LOK is not in the mood for training, on top of which she even decides not to take part in the contest. While YAT-CHUN is talking with other doctors about online shopping, all of a sudden, he sees that his father's antique watch is for sale in an online auction site. He then tries to phone YAT-WA to ask him about it, yet cannot reach him. YUET-YING is rushed to A&E after eating mushrooms from an unknown source, following which DAO-HANG tries to contact TZE-KWAN multiple times by phone but to no avail. Inviting CHI-MING out to go fishing, TAI-WAI inquires him about the performances of the student nurses, to which CHI-MING replies that they still lack the spirit of cooperation. KO FAN wants LAI-CHING to take part in the contest, on the contrary, LAI-CHING has decided not to participate in the contest. Episode 11Both YAT-CHUN and SIN-FA can't believe that YAT-WA is dead, leaving CHI-MING no other choice but to show them the death certificate. Meanwhile the two start getting suspicious of CHI-MING as the latter turns out to be the trustee of the estate of the late YAT-WA. Announcing the upcoming establishment of the nurse practitioner-led clinic in the hospital, CHI-CHIU intends to send TZE-KWAN to study and train in the UK, which makes TZE-KWAN feel thrilled. While meeting up with YAT-CHUN, SIN-FA reveals that she heard from a boatman that YAT-WA had a fight with CHI-MING before his death. On top of that, through her online search, she even discovers that CHI-MING allegedly assaulted a female patient in the UK. Episode 12PAT-SHUI not only keeps begging HUI HUI to teach him, but also wants HUI HUI to be his mentor. However, HUI HUI refuses, and gives him a secondhand manikin instead. While KI LOK and CHUN are giving out free lunch boxes at the foot of the bridge, they notice a homeless person called TAI-MAN looks very young. All of a sudden, TAI-MAN flips out and is thereby rushed to A&E, where Medical Officer CHI-FUNG diagnoses him with drug overdose. After TAI-MAN takes a shower, he claims that his watch has gone missing. Out of the blue, TAI-WAI recovers the watch during the pat-down search on PAT-SHUI. All the student nurses try their best to help clear PAT-SHUI of the allegation, but to no avail. Suddenly, there is an abrupt loud noise coming from the washroom, so all of them think it's PAT-SHUI who tried to kill himself.… ...

Episode 13KI LOK intends to buy back the wedding ring for TAI-MAN, only to find out that TAI-MAN just remembers the number and cannot provide the actual receipt. At that moment, someone suddenly hands the receipt to KI LOK. Upon TZE-KWAN's return to Hong Kong, she surprisingly sees YAT-CHUN become the consultant of the nurse practitioner-led clinic. In the ward, a patient is disconnected from the ventilator resulting in the need for first aid, so FOR-FOR immediately wants to find the one responsible for this. Though YUET-OI is fully aware of her mistake, PAT-SHUI out of the blue takes the blame for her. Having heard PAT-SHUI's explanation, YUET-OI cannot help feeling that he is very naive, and in the meantime, she is also deeply moved by his bravery. Episode 14For the establishment of the nurse practitioner-led clinic, TZE-KWAN experiences a great deal of stress, and she often has nightmares. While YAT-CHUN and TZE-KWAN are seeking other medical staff's support for the clinic, LEE-KWAN agrees to support them. NGA-YAN and YUET-OI go to listen to SAI-KAN's singing in a bar, following which they both coincidentally ask him something personal about PAT-SHUI, without knowing that SAI-KAN thereby misconstrues that they have both fallen in love with him instead. By the time when the advisory council meeting on the establishment of the nurse practitioner-led clinic takes place, surprisingly, LEE-KWAN is the first one who comes out strongly in opposition to the project, leaving YAU-SANG no other choice but to suspend the project for the time being. TZE-KWAN and DAO-HANG bring along HIU-CHING to consult a psychiatrist, who confirms that HIU-CHING has suffered a dissociative disorder.… ...

Episode 15Seeing there is a traffic accident, PUI-YEE immediately goes to offer comfort and assistance to those injured. When the journalists come to A&E to take photos, CHI-FUNG actively draws TZE-KWAN over his side for photographs, hoping the photos they take together will help seek more support in the establishment of the nurse practitioner-led clinic. Inviting NGA-YAN out for a date, SAI-KAN thinks NGA-YAN is very gentle and attentive. On the other hand, SAI-KAN, who was to go out on a date with YUET-OI, tells PAT-SHUI to go and meet YUET-OI in his stead. Later on, SAI-KAN asks YUET-OI out for a dinner, and YUET-OI offers to treat him so as to express her gratitude to SAI-KAN for having created the opportunity for her to date PAT-SHUI. Episode 16Out of kindness, KO FAN drives a patient to the hospital, during which the patient keeps coughing at him; whereas TZE-KWAN later uncovers the address given by the patient turns out to be false. The patient with the persistent cough is suspected to have avian flu, but suddenly disappears, so right away the hospital dispatches people to search everywhere for the patient. YAT-CHUN intends to get back together with TZE-KWAN, who turns him down for fear of gossip, however, the two are later found entangled with each other by LAI-CHING. During their routine meeting, YAT-CHUN proposes adjusting their Body Temperature Monitoring System so that the frontline medical personnel can be more vigilant for the fever, to which LEE-KWAN is strongly opposed for fear of causing a public panic.… ...

Episode 17After waking up, CHI-MING notices the necklace that was on the table is missing, and when KI LOK returns it back to him, he reveals the real story behind the necklace. Getting off from work, KING-SUN bumps into his suitors, a large group of female nurses, however, he only takes careful note of what YUET-OI and the other student nurses talk about. KI LOK thinks YUK-KUEN is not bad except her forthright personality; whereas PUI-YEE points out that YUK-KUEN might change once she starts dating someone. While telling YUK-KUEN that LAP-KI has a crush on her, KI LOK, on the other hand, reveals to LAP-KI that YUK-KUEN takes a fancy to him. As a result, the two often sneak a glance at each other while working. KO FAN shows symptoms like fever and cough, and through laboratory tests, it's confirmed they are caused by infection of the influenza virus, which makes LEE-KWAN feel very worried.… ...

Episode 18CHI-MING takes up a job as a private duty nurse and requests KI LOK to be his assistant, however, when the two arrive at the destination, KI LOK uncovers that the patient turns out to be MEI-WAI. LEE-KWAN learns from KO FAN's attending doctor that not only does KO FAN's condition show no signs of improvement, but KO FAN also has pneumonia. When YAT-CHUN pays tribute to his late co-workers, he runs into TZE-KWAN, who congratulates him on his new girlfriend. Seeing that it's late and DAO-HANG has not returned home yet, YUET-YING intends to bring him soup. However, upon her arrival at his office, she surprisingly uncovers his secret. Episode 19Following her dialysis treatment, MEI-WAI brings along her daughter KI LOK to a temple to pray for the well-being of her daughter, making KI LOK feel so loved. Once again, CHI-LUNG is sent to the hospital after passing out, but he still attempts to tell PUI-YEE to fudge the results so as to get himself discharged from the hospital. With MEI-WAI secretly phoning a reverend, KI LOK happens to overhear their conversation and comes to realise the truth, which renders her heartbroken. PUI-YEE asks CHI-MING to teach her how to handle the patient with anorexia; whereas SAI-KAN cannot make a decision on whether to continue with nursing or become a singer after getting a record deal. CHI-MING leads KI LOK to a nursing home, where KI LOK finally gets to meet her maternal half younger sister, ZOE.… ...

Episode 20Though the resuscitation is successful, KO FAN develops a severe case of pneumonia. YAT-CHUN, SIN-FA and TZE-KWAN go to have lunch together, during which TZE-KWAN cannot help feeling upset after seeing that SIN-FA is very attentive to YAT-CHUN. Suddenly, TZE-KWAN receives a phone call, informing her that HIU-CHING ran away from home. TZE-KWAN also decides to leave home as she cannot put up with DAO-HANG's bad behavior any longer, so YAT-CHUN helps her find a new place to stay. In the ward, LAP-KI publicly announces that he and YUK-KUEN have started seeing each other, making all the other medical personnel exchange satisfied smiles. Episode 23CHI-MING attempts to wreak his vengeance upon YAU-SANG by kidnapping YAU-SANG's grandchild. When KI LOK visits CHI-MING, CHI-MING somehow suspects that KI LOK is sent by YAT-CHUN to gather information from him. DAO-HANG tries to persuade TZE-KWAN not to divorce him until HIU-CHING grows up, but seeing that TZE-KWAN is determined to divorce him, DAO-HANG suddenly shifts his attitude, vowing to fight for the custody of his daughter HIU-CHING. At a wine tasting event, KING-SUN accidentally spills something on YUET-OI's gown and smudges it, but he instead hurls insults at YUET-OI, who suddenly comes to realise that bit by bit she has been losing herself ever since she started seeing KING-SUN. Gradually, YAT-CHUN and SIN-FA become estranged from each other and both of them are fully aware that their relationship is heading towards a dead-end.… ...

Episode 24After waking up, CHI-MING surprisingly finds himself in a bed, and YAT-CHUN and YAU-SANG, two people he hates the most, are sitting by his bedside; whereas KI LOK comes forward to comfort him and tells him everything that happened. CHI-FUNG and SZE-KI receive an unconscious patient who turns out to be a Cantonese opera artist, and something the patient's wife said while removing her husband's makeup profoundly touches SZE-KI, who then decides to marry CHI-FUNG. During the wedding ceremony of SZE-KI and CHI-FUNG, TZE-KWAN asks SIN-FA when she is going to marry YAT-CHUN, unexpectedly, TZE-KWAN is told that she has already broken up with YAT-CHUN. Having led CHI-MING back to the orphanage where he spent his childhood, TAI-WAI frankly discloses to CHI-MING that he himself has developed terminal cancer. Episode 25TAI-WAI re-encounters an old classmate and starts chatting with him, who instead thinks he is just trying to gloat over his own achievements, and later TAI-WAI learns that his classmate has developed bowel cancer but refuses any treatment. KI LOK has to undergo the supplementary exam, however, she suddenly passes out during the exam, which, according CHI-FUNG's diagnosis, is due to complications resulting from the kidney transplant surgery. In order to look after injured HIU-CHING, TZE-KWAN is on the verge of being worn out, so she intends to keep her distance from YAT-CHUN until the day when HIU-CHING regains her consciousness. As for YAT-CHUN, he works around the clock, seeking a way to cure HIU-CHING.
